Purchasing information

We are on the tools propagating, growing and selling plants from Monday to Friday, but are usually available on weekends as well.  We welcome customers to our Okato based nursery by appointment and offer excellent delivery options Taranaki wide.


Pick Up Plants / Visit The Nursery

Please text (or call) Max on 02108189677 or email surfhighwaynatives@gmail.com and let us know which day and time you would like to swing by (Monday - Friday). We will then be in touch to confirm our availability and our address, which is located 5 minutes south of Okato town, or 25 minutes drive from New Plymouth. 

Our nursery is located at the end of a quiet rural road, with residential neighbours nearby, so we kindly request that our customers drive cautiously when coming to visit and refrain from visiting without a prior appointment. 


Delivery

We offer FREE DELIVERY between Opunake and Waitara for all orders over $150 and to the rest of Taranaki for all orders over $300. 

To order plants for delivery, please send us an email outlining:

  1. The plants you would like to purchase. 
  2. Your delivery address, phone number and instructions on where you would like your plants to be left if you are not home. 
  3. Which day (Monday-Friday) you would like your plants to be delivered (must be within 14 days of ordering).

We will email you a sales invoice which can then be paid by card or bank transfer (payment required at least 24hrs prior to delivery). 

We will send you a text once we depart our nursery to let you know we are on our way, and again after your plants have been delivered, including a photo as proof of delivery. 



Shipping

We can ship all of our standard grade (1L) plants North Island wide using our delivery partner. The cost for this is $26 per box containing 8 plants (rural add $6). We do not currently ship to the South Island and only ship full boxes of 8 plants.
