Purchasing information

We want to make it as easy as possible to purchase our beautiful native plants by offering a range of purchasing options including nursery visits, free local delivery for large orders and shipping options for the rest of the North Island. 

Pick Up Plants / Visit The Nursery

We welcome visitors to our nursery by appointment from Tuesday to Saturday during planting season. Please just flick Max a text or call on 02108189677 to let us know when you would like to swing by.

Our nursery is located 5 minutes south of Okato, 25 minutes from New Plymouth.

Please note we currently take payment via bank transfer or cash only (no eftpos).

Our nursery is located at the end of a quiet rural road, with residential neighbours nearby, so we kindly request that our customers drive cautiously when coming to visit and refrain from visiting without a prior appointment. 

Delivery

Every week on Monday’s we do a mission around Taranaki delivering our plants far and wide. 

Delivery is free for the following minimum order values:

Okato, Oakura, Pungarehu, New Plymouth = FREE DELIVERY for over $50 of plants.

Opunake, Waitara, Inglewood = FREE DELIVERY for over $100 of Plants.

Eltham, Hawera, Stratford, Urunui ect = FREE DELIVERY over $200 of Plants.

Patea, Waverly, Uriti, Tongapōrutu ect = FREE DELIVERY for over $300 of plants.

To order plants for delivery, please send us an email at surfhighwaynatives@gmail.com or text to 02108189677 outlining:

1.The plants you would like to purchase. 

2. Your delivery address and instructions on where you would like your plants to be left if you are not home. 

3. Your phone number and your email address. 

We will email you a sales invoice which can then be paid by card or bank transfer (payment required at least 24hrs prior to delivery). 

Your plants will then be delivered on our next Monday delivery run. We will flick you a text once your plants have been delivered, along with a photo as proof of delivery. 

Shipping

We can ship all of our standard grade (1L) plants North Island wide using our delivery partner. The cost for this is $24 per box containing 8 plants (rural add $6). We do not currently ship to the South Island and only ship full boxes of 8 plants.
