Harakeke (Phormium Tenax) is the large flax species, growing to around 3m tall by 3m wide. Thrives in wet, dry, coastal or inland conditions. We grow these from locally wild-sourced seed aiming to get 100% natural green flax plants. Due to cross-pollination we occasionally get some purple/bronze plants which are graded out and grown into our large 3.5L pots which make great feature plants.
